Photo of the week #04.2009: Blown with the wind – Blowball seed flying away…

Blown with the wind – Blowball seed blown away…, ursprünglich hochgeladen von martin zeile photography

Lately I’m into learning lighting techniques. I strolled a lot of articles on strobist’s blog and learned as well from Zack Arias’s site. Really interesting what you can do with one flash, and I try to add another to my collection soon if I find one affordable lika a Nikon SB-26 or SB-80.

Shot with a Canon EF 100mm macro lens with EF 25 and EF 12 extension tubes on my Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Minimal lens to subject distance (about 20-30 cm) Additional Flash for time freeze (1/32 power), off camera angled from the bottom right. Shot in bright daylight (about noon), natural wind, lucky shot that I got the one seed flying away in time.
